What Are Your Writing Goals? Clarify Them Here.
Before chasing publication, feedback, or followers, take a breath and ask yourself:
What do I really want from my writing life?
For some, it’s a finished novel. For others, it’s community, publication in literary journals, or the dream of landing an agent. Whatever your vision, naming it is powerful.
Because clarity keeps you from:
- Wasting time on goals that aren’t yours
- Comparing yourself to others
- Feeling aimless when rejection or self-doubt hits
Take five minutes. Write down:
- What you want to write (genre, format, themes)
- Who you want to reach (agents, readers, yourself?)
- What would feel like progress this month?
Drop them in the comments or message me. Let’s support each other. This is your space to define your writing life—not anyone else’s.
